Instructions
Add ginger and water to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the cinnamon stick, turmeric, and cayenne pepper.
Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in the lemon juice.
Pour through a strainer into a mug, discarding any solids
Add honey to taste.
Notes
Let it steep
– Simmer for at least 10 minutes to bring out the flavors.
Strain well
– Use a fine-mesh strainer for a smooth tea.
Adjust to taste
– Add more honey or lemon to suit your preference.
