Heat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly butter a 5×5 inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the buttered baking dish.Pro Tip: If the rolls split apart, don’t worry. With just four rolls, they will fit well in the dish.
Spread the sauce you prepared evenly over the top half of the rolls. After applying the sauce, set this half aside for later.
Begin by placing half of the ham on the bottom half of the rolls in the dish. Next, add a layer of cheese. Continue by adding the remaining ham and topping it off with the remaining cheese.
After layering the ingredients, carefully place the sauced top half of the rolls over the meat and cheese. Lightly brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds for added flavor and texture.
Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the tops are slightly browned.Pro Tip: If the sliders are browning too quickly, cover the dish with foil.
After baking, allow the sliders to rest for 5 minutes. Then, you can either use a spatula to carefully lift them out of the baking dish, cut them into individual servings with a knife, or simply enjoy them right from the dish.
