Tuna Salad For One

This is the best tuna salad recipe! It's made with just 1 can of tuna and a few simple ingredients. Enjoy as a sandwich, a wrap or with salad greens.

Ingredients

  • 1 5-ounce can water-packed tuna fish , drained
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 stalk celery , diced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ tablespoon pickle relish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, break up the tuna with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, celery, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and relish if using and stir to combine.
  • Taste and add additional salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately or cover and chill until serving.

Notes

Add-Ins
Although I prefer a simple tuna salad recipe, there are times when I'd like to spend a few more minutes and add in other delicious ingredients like:
  • chopped red onions
  • chopped cucumbers
  • chopped fresh dill
  • chopped parsley
  • dijon mustard
  • grated parmesan cheese
