Tuna Salad For One
This is the best tuna salad recipe! It's made with just 1 can of tuna and a few simple ingredients. Enjoy as a sandwich, a wrap or with salad greens.
Servings: 1 serving
- 1 5-ounce can water-packed tuna fish , drained
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 stalk celery , diced
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ tablespoon pickle relish (optional)
In a small mixing bowl, break up the tuna with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, celery, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and relish if using and stir to combine.
Taste and add additional salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately or cover and chill until serving.
Although I prefer a simple tuna salad recipe, there are times when I'd like to spend a few more minutes and add in other delicious ingredients like:
- chopped red onions
- chopped cucumbers
- chopped fresh dill
- chopped parsley
- dijon mustard
- grated parmesan cheese
