all purpose flour

baking soda

salt

salted butter

granulated sugar

packed brown sugar

teaspoon
vanilla extract

egg

trail mix
, chopped

chocolate chips
(optional)
Instructions
Heat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a separate large bowl until creamy.
Add the egg and mix well.
Gradually mix in the flour mixture.
Stir in the chopped trail mix and chocolate chips (if using).
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.
