Chocolate Avocado Tart For One
Simple, no-bake, luscious Chocolate Avocado Tart For One with a gluten-free crust made from dates and walnuts. A rich, creamy guilt free dessert that can be ready in minutes. Made with an avocado and cocoa powder and sweetened with a touch of melted chocolate and honey.
Servings: 1 tart
For The Crust
- 1/2 cup walnut halves
- 1/3 cup pitted dates (about 5-6)
For The Filling
- 1 medium avocado
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons chocolate chips , melted
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
To Make The Crust
To make the crust, place the walnuts and dates in a food processor fitted with the S blade. Run the processor for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture is finely ground. Spoon the mixture out into a 4.5 to 5-inch mini tart pan or small dessert dish and press it evenly into the pan or dish and along the sides. Chill the crust while you make the filling.
To Make The Filling
To make the filling, blend all the ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Pour this mixture into the tart crust or dessert bowl and use the back of a spoon or a spatula to smooth it over.
Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Best when enjoyed within 24 hours.
