Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon molasses
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard powder
  • teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 burger bun

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium high heat.
  • Brown the ground turkey and onions together.
    Then, add garlic and red bell peppers, cooking until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Mix in all remaining ingredients, then lower the heat and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto a bun to serve.
