This fresh strawberry lemonade recipe was inspired by a lemonade I enjoyed in Panama City Beach, Florida.

This fresh squeezed lemonade quenched my thirst like nothing else could.

Homemade Lemonade

When I make up a batch of fresh squeezed lemonade, I rarely add sugar. I use honey instead.

The honey mixes easily with water and gives lemonade the perfect amount of sweetness.

How To Make Strawberry Lemonade

I use an entire pound of fresh strawberries in this lemonade recipe.

Just trim the strawberries, cut them in half and toss them into a blender.

You will likely need to add a little liquid to the strawberries so they can move around a little in the blender. Usually 1/2 cup is the perfect amount.

Pour the strawberry purée through a fine mesh strainer. By forcing the purée through the tiny holes of the strainer, the seeds get left behind.

After you’ve got your strawberries strained, stir together the lemon juice, water, honey, and strawberry purée and pour the lemonade into a tall glass over ice.

This strawberry lemonade will keep well in the refrigerator for a few days.

    1. Thank you, Kathy. I can’t wait until my daughter gets out of school so we can go blueberry and strawberry picking. I love sweet strawberries this time of year.
